With a background in classical ballet, Narelle first discovered her love of pilates as she worked to achieve her own optimum fitness and strength. She has also experienced the benefits of pilates as a successful rehabilitation program when recovering from her own injury.
Narelle studied ballet at the Australian Ballet School, but after graduating decided to change her career path. She went on to study at Victoria University where she completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Dermal Therapy. After working for a few years in clinic with plastic surgery aftercare and dermal therapy, Narelle returned to her passion of pilates by completing her instructor course through Dance Medicine Australia.
Narelle is a clinical pilates instructor with a strong personal and professional interest in using pilates for injury prevention and rehabilitation, and to provide individualised client care. She has worked in conjunction with the osteopaths at the Centre for Musculoskeletal Medicine for the past 10 years.
